Fields: Workflow / User Group

The Workflow / User Group tab contains lists of existing workflows and user groups, as well as management options that allow you to add, edit, or remove workflows and user groups.

Workflow Setup list

Displays a list of all the workflows that you have created.

The list displays this information about each workflow:

Option

Description

Acquisition Type

An Acquisition Type that is combined with the values in the Resource Format and Resource Type columns. Resources that match this three-way combination are automatically assigned the workflow's steps.

Resource Format

A Resource Format that is combined with the values in the Acquisition Type and Resource Type columns. Resources that match this three-way combination are automatically assigned the workflow's steps.

Resource Type

A Resource Type that is combined with the values in the Acquisition Type and Resource Format columns. Resources that match this three-way combination are automatically assigned the workflow's steps.

User Group Setup list

Displays a list of all the user groups that you have created.

The list displays this information about each user group:

Option

Description

Group Name

The name of the group. The name is used to distinguish user groups when assigning user groups to workflow steps.

Email Address

The email address that is assigned to this user group. This email address is used to notify members of the user group whenever a workflow step assigned to them is ready to be completed.

Users

A list of the users that have been assigned to this group. Any of these users can complete a workflow step that is assigned to this user group.

Management options

Lets you manage workflows and user groups by adding, editing, or removing them.

Add Workflow

Lets you add a new workflow. For more information, see Adding or editing workflows.

Add User Group

Lets you add a new user group. For more information, see Adding or editing user groups.

Edit

Remove

Lets you remove an existing workflow or user group. For more information, see Removing Workflows and User Groups.
