Workflows and User Groups

The Workflow/ User Group tab allows you to add and configure the workflows that resources use to determine their required workflow steps, and the user groups that are responsible for completing each of those steps. Workflows consist of a number of steps that you choose, and are associated with a three way combination of a Acquisition Type, Resource Format, and Resource Type. When a new resource is submitted, the system automatically assigns the workflow steps that match the resource's combination. User groups consist of one or more users that are assigned to the group. A single contact email address can also be assigned to the user group. Once a user group has been created, it can be assigned responsibility for completing workflow steps.
