Integrating the EBSCO Knowledge Base with the Resources module

The EBSCO Kb Config tab on the Resources module Admin page is where you configure the EBSCO Knowledge Base integration feature. Using this feature, you can search the EBSCO Knowledge Base without leaving BLUEcloud eRM. From the list of Knowledge Base search results, you can also activate holdings remotely, and import title and package information into the Resources module. To turn on the EBSCO Knowledge Base integration, you must supply your EBSCO HoldingsIQ API credentials. Once you turn on this feature you will see the EBSCO Kb option on the Resources module navigation bar. For more information about the EBSCO Knowledge Base integration, see EBSCO Kb page.

To integrate the EBSCO Kb with the Resources module

From any page in the Resources module, click Admin from the navigation bar.
From the Admin page, select the EBSCO Kb Config tab.
Select the Enable EBSCO Knowledge Base checkbox.
Type your Customer ID and API Key where prompted.

Note: If you don't know your library's API credentials for HoldingsIQ, please contact your EBSCO support representative.
Click Save to finish.
