Alias Types

Alias Types are used to categorize the different kinds of aliases that are added to resources. For example, you might have some aliases that are abbreviations, while other aliases could be an alternate name for the resource. Alias Types are assigned to resources on the Product tab of a resource record (for more information, see Editing product details for a resource).
