Adding or editing External Login Types

You can add or edit External Login Types from the Organizations module Admin page. External Login Types are used to categorize the accounts that are used to gain access to an organization's system. For example, there could be an account used to access a resource over FTP, an account used to access a resource with administrative rights, and an account to provide general access to library staff and patrons.

To add or edit an External Login Type

  1. From Admin page, find the External Login Type section.
  2. Do one of the following:

    • Click Add New External Login Type, type a name for the new External Login Type, and click Add.
    • Click Edit for an existing External Login Type, edit the type's name, and click Update.
