Fields: Terms Tool Settings — Licensing module

Before using the Terms Tool, you must fill out your Terms Tool Settings. These settings determine which OpenURL link resolver to use for resolving ISBN and ISSN queries to the Terms Tool page.

Description

Resolver

Specifies which OpenURL link resolver to use from the following options:

  • SFX—select this option to use the Ex Libris SFX link resolver.

  • SerialsSolutions—select this option to use the Ex Libris (formerly Serials Solutions) 360 Link link resolver.

  • EBSCO—select this option to use the EBSCO Full Text Finder link resolver and HoldingsIQ data service.

SFX

The following fields appear for the Ex Libris SFX link resolver:

Open URL

The URL to your SFX instance. This should include the server name and port number, but not the source ID. In the example OpenURL, "http://servername:port/sfx_instance", "http://servername:port/" is the selection that would go in this field.

SID

The Source ID for your SFX database. This field is optional.

SerialsSolutions

The following fields appear for the Ex Libris 360 Link link resolver:

Client ID

Your ProQuest Client ID. This is a unique code assigned by ProQuest to your library. If you don't know your library's Client ID, please contact your Ex Libris 360 Services representative.

EBSCO

The following fields appear for the EBSCO Full Text Finder link resolver:

Customer ID

Your library's EBSCO Customer ID. If you don't know your library's Customer ID, please contact your EBSCO support representative.

Api Key

Your unique production API key, which is used to access the EBSCO HoldingsIQ data service. If you don't know your library's API key, please contact your EBSCO support representative.
